“The Trinity in the Old Testament Part 4”
Daniel 7:13-14

The “Two Powers in Heaven”: an ancient rabbinical theory that Yahweh, the God of Israel, could manifest as two distinct heavenly figures, both identified as Yahweh, without violating Jewish monotheism.

Examples of the Two Powers in Heaven:
1. Genesis 19:23-26 – Yahweh rains judgment from Yahweh.
2. Psalm 110 – Yahweh speaks to David’s “Lord.”
3. Daniel 7:9-10; 13-14 – The Son of Man is presented before the Ancient of Days.
4. Matt 26:59-65 – Jesus identifies himself as the second power in Heaven.
