 1 Corinthians 1:1-9

What is the meaning of the word saint?

Saint = ἅγιος (hagios), “holy one” or “consecrated one.”

Sanctify = ἁγιάζω (hagiazō), “to make holy” or “to dedicate.”

How did we come to be saints of God?

1.  We were called.
2.  We were given grace.
3.  We were declared guiltless.

What does being a saint entail?

1.  We are being sanctified.
2.  We will be sustained.
3.  We are brought together.
4.  We are waiting for our Lord.
