Luke 20:9-18

Breaking down the parable:

1.  The owner of the vineyard represents God the Father.
2.  The vineyard represents Israel’s privilege.
3.  The tenants represent Israel’s people – especially her spiritual leadership.
4.  The servants represent God’s prophets.
5.  The son represents the Son.

Point 1: God expects produce from his people.

Point 2: God’s people habitually reject God’s prophets.

Point 3: Judgment awaits those who reject Jesus.
