1 Corinthians 3:10-17
Point 1: The people of God are the temple of God.
Point 2: God will judge the works of his workers.
- There is a coming day when God will evaluate the works and motivations of Christians.
- This judgment occurs during “the Day,” (v. 13) aka “The Day of the Lord.” (Isa 13:9)
- To be commended, our work must be based on the person and work of Jesus Christ.
- The quality of our work will be tested.
- The excellence of our work will be exposed.
- Faithful workers will be rewarded.
- Unfaithful workers will be saved but suffer loss.
- Those who seek to destroy will be destroyed.
