Jeremiah 29:1-12; Isaiah 53:1-6

Q1: I often see Jeremiah 29:11 printed out of context on all sorts of Christian products. Why is this verse so popular, and what does it actually teach?

Q2: I have a friend who is part of the word/faith movement. They told me that Isa 53:5 teaches that perfect healing from all diseases is part of what Jesus died to accomplish. Therefore, with enough faith, a Christian should never be sick. Is that true, and if so, why do so many Christians still get sick and even die?
