1 Samuel 15:11; Job 1:6; Hebrews 6:4-6

Q1: 1 Samuel 15:11 says, “I regret that I have made Saul king, for he has turned back from following me and has not performed my commandments.” Since God is omniscient and knows everything that can and will happen, how can he experience regret over his actions?

Q2: The book of Job 1:6 says, “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. that the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them.” Certain translations use the word “accuser” instead of “Satan.” Some theologians argue that this is because the concept of the devil developed over time. How do we know the “accuser” was actually Satan himself?

Q3: I’ve heard many Christian teachers say that once a person attains salvation, they cannot be lost. However, Hebrews 6:4-6 seems to contradict this notion. Do these verses teach that salvation can be lost and, once lost, never regained?
