A Great Vision
Daniel 10:1-9
Point 1: Daniel was given a theophany – a vision of the pre-incarnate Son of God.
- God often appears to his servants before imparting special knowledge or giving them a unique ministry.
- This encounter is similar to the description of Jesus in Revelation 1:12-16.
- Daniel has a similar response to that of John from Revelation 1:17.
- Others present reacted similarly to Saul’s companions in Acts 9:7 and 22:9.
Point 2: The remedy of despair is a vision of Christ.
